W&J Graham’s Port

Founded in 1820 by two Scottish brothers William and John Graham, Graham’s Port gradually grew to become one of the greatest names in the Port industry. It was one of the first companies to invest in own vineyards in the beautiful region of Douro Valley – birthplace of Port – in the northeast of Portugal, with the purchase of the iconic Quinta dos Malvedos in 1890, thus controlling every step of the way of the viticulture and winemaking. Always a family business since its beginning, it is since 1970 owned and managed by the Symingtons, a fully committed family to the wine region and Port winemaking since 1882, and now in the 5th generation. Graham’s Ports are known for their richness of flavours, power and balance, and have gained global recognition particularly by the outstanding quality of its Vintage Ports (such as the magnificents 1948, 1963, 1970, 2000 or 2011) and more recently with the Aged Tawny Ports – of which the 20 Years Old is a perfect example.
